Blog Discoveries: SFF

I hope nobody minds if I share two of my latest finds with you. First, I'd have to recommend Sirayn's blog, University of Fantasy - who's recently featured some book reviews, along with excerpts from her WIP urban fantasy, The Infernal Fantasy - and from what I've seen so far, it's a read to expect sometime in the near future. I've also stumbled across Atsiko's Chimney, another new blog devoted to writing: but with some truly excellent posts on the art of the title and magic systems.

Check them out!

  1. Nifty new blogs. The NaNoWrimo has been showing up in a few places I have been. I am going to have to take a closer look at this.

    Thanks for the links!

  2. No problem - I was thinking about doing NaNoWriMo myself, but with reviewing to be getting on with, I just don't have enough time on my hands. :) Maybe next year, I'm saying.

  3. I was thinking now that I am aware of NaNoWriMo I may not do it this year but keep it in mind for next year as well. Maybe I can get my brain working more on writing than reading for next year and be a little more prepared for the month, since it is a whole month long process.

I am so busy with working and kid stuff along with home I can prepare better for next year I think. At least keep it in mind for next year.

  4. Hey, thanks very much for the shout-out! I've added you to my blog roll. I love the "Essential Fantasy Reads" series you're doing. :)

  5. Hey parametric,

No problem! Great blog, byt the way, and thanks for the comment. :) Might have to append a few more to that list soon...
